Build a better clinical framework for the throwing athlete.
The Thrower's Blueprint is designed for clinicians who want to move beyond isolated tests and generic return-to-throw protocols. Connect throwing biomechanics, symptom behavior, physical examination, tissue-specific diagnosis, rehabilitation, and sport demands into a more complete clinical decision-making process.
What you'll learn.
One intensive day designed to translate throwing-athlete science into better examination, rehabilitation, and performance decisions.
Understand the Throwing Delivery
Break down the throwing motion and connect each phase with the mechanical demands placed on the shoulder, elbow, and kinetic chain.
Build a Thrower-Specific Exam
Integrate history, symptom location, symptom timing, mobility, strength, and sport-specific findings into a more purposeful exam.
Reason Through Shoulder & Elbow Pain
Improve your ability to differentiate common throwing-related presentations and identify the tissues most likely contributing to the athlete's symptoms.
Translate Findings Into Programming
Use the examination to guide exercise selection, loading, progression, and return-to-performance preparation.
Progress Back to Throwing
Integrate diagnosis, physical capacity, workload tolerance, throwing demands, and stage of recovery into return-to-throw decisions.
Apply It Clinically
Move beyond lecture with practical clinical application, examination strategies, discussion, and problem-solving.
